The thermomineral waters of Novopazarska spa

Abstract

In this paper, an analysis has been done of hydrological, geological and chemical characteristics of thermo-mineral waters in Novopazarska Banja (spa). We have established their present usage for health and recreational purposes. We have also established the possible usage of the sites that are suitable for those purposes and that have not been given this function before. Most of the larger health centers work needs. Their transformation into centres of regional proportions requires constructing of new infrastructure and application of modern marketing approach.
